Lead Pastry Cook
Victory Ranch is looking for a Pastry Cook to help prepare a variety ofdesserts, pastries, or other sweet goods. Your skill in baking high qualitytreats should be matched by your creativity to develop amazing new tastes andrecipes. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in culinary arts with apassion for sweet and delicious creations. Located Kamas, Victory Ranch is just 20 minutes from Park City and 10minutes from Heber. We are home to one of the best golf courses in the country,and offer our members and their families unique outdoor experiences includingguided fly fishing, snowmobiling, skeet shooting, upland bird hunting,backcountry hiking and biking, as well as 4x4 trails.
The ideal candidate will focus on providing the best member experiencepossible, possess leadership qualities, and provide innovative solutions toproblems. Excellent communication and organizational skills are vital, as wellas the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Baking cakes, breads, puff dough, and numerous pastries. Working with a combination of hand made and machine deposited processes.
- Pastry Team: Building mousse cakes and other layer cakes. Decorating pastries, assemble tarts, work with chocolate.
- May be required to make pastry creams, Chantilly cream, ganache, and glazes, making cookie mixes.
- Help with finishing and decorating cakes and desserts
- Speed, and efficiency are of the utmost importance.
- Ability to multi-task and organizational structure.
- Follow and implement brand standards in regard to recipe, production, decorating, baking, and presentation.
- The health and safety of our members, guests and team are of the utmost priority. We expect high support and high accountability with exceeding health department standards.
- One needs to have a sharp focus on sanitation and security. We ask that you have an adaptable, creative, and teachable attitude.
- Commercial baking experience a must
- Must be punctual and reliable
- Culinary knowledge and experience
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Must be passionate about excellence and constant improvement
- Able to stay calm and productive under pressure
- 1-2 years in a baking or pastry cook position.
- Must be available for days, nights, weekends and holidays.
- Experience in a high-volume setting or ability to adapt.
- Culinary degree or certification preferred
